As parents, we like to tell our kids they can be anything they want when they grow up. But we don’t often stop to think about all the things they already are right now.
That’s right. Even though they may be years away from writing résumés or sweating through job interviews, our children are born with loads of skills that can help them perform all sorts of careers.
If you think it’s crazy to say your tiny tyke is ready to take on a reporter job right now…

Over the last year, our family watched a whole bunch of Peanuts holiday specials – on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s and Valentine’s Day – and we wrote down all the amazingly adorable things our kids said about them.
Well now we’re back to cover the one big Charlie Brown special we missed!

Valentine’s Day is almost upon us! That means love is in the air, and yet another Peanuts holiday special is airing on TV.

When our family checked out “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” together a couple weeks ago, the results were about as adorable as they could be. So we decided to do it again.
Here’s how our four-year-old daughter Sammy (and her two-year-old brother Freddy) reacted when they watched “A Charlie Brown Christmas” for the very first time:

Most of us adults have been exposed to Peanuts comic strips and cartoons since we were children. So by the time we become parents, we know exactly what to expect each time another Charlie Brown holiday special hits the air.
But for our kids, it’s a whole other story.
When our four-year-old daughter Sammy watched “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” for the very first time this Thanksgiving Eve, she entertained us with a truly fresh perspective on an old classic.
